I will be moving my 12x8 this fall. I'm going to pay a few hundred bucks and have someone with a boom put it on my 16foot dual axle trailer. It has to be less than 13.5 feet tall and 8.5 wide to go down road without permits. The height includes trailer. If your just moving it around the yard then size is no issue. Get some rollers and a jack

If it needs to be bigger, you could build a building that is designed to be split and re-assembled. I moved a little house years ago that took a day to split, a day to move, and a day to bolt it up again.

Back when I was a kid, the NYS Thruway (I-90) was being built. One house that had to go was just across the road from me. A house mover sawed the home in half, moved both halves across a 21' wide bridge to a new lot the owner bought. The home was then re connected. I don't know what issues they had inside, but outside after the house was re connected you could not tell where it had been divided. As such, much larger sugarhouses can be moved. Build what you will need in 5 yrs. for the minimum, 10 yrs is even better. There is a saying I like relating to this topic. Figure what size you need, double it and you will have half enough.

I thought it was, figure what size you need, then double it. That way you'll only have to add on once.
