Custom pan or adapt?

So; I'm going to try turning an old Rite-way sheet metal wood stove into an arch. It's roughly 17.5" X 28".
Am I better off having a pan custom made, or making some sort of frame for the top that will accommodate an off-the-shelf pan?

Build a frame for a common size pan. It will be less expensive than a custom made pan. An 18' x 30" cross flow front pan from a 2 1/2' x 8' evaporator would fit with no modification.
