The sale has started. I bought some mainline on the sale prices a few days ago. Try calling them.

The Keene NH store said they don't have any information about a sale. Anyone else?

Did they say when the sale ended? They e-mail me a price list and the prices were alot higher than last year. 1" was 140.15 per 500' and 3/4 was 97.05 per 500'.

Usually the Vermont store is the only one that knows anything about a sale. Are those prices for 100psi black pipe?

CDL is trying to take the business from FW Webb so they are keeping their mainline prices lower. CDL claims(according to a salesman) that their pipe is made with base materials that make their pipe "food grade" and higher quality than "Potable water grade" like Webbs pipe.

I talked to my CDL dealer here in Maine and there's no deals here on tubing must be just in Vermont. I'll be going with Webb.

Start buying some expensive equipment from CDL and it will go on sale for you.

I would if I could get any service from them. For 2 years I can't get any answer out of them on my evaporator problems.I'm about done with them. I will be finding another vender.

Interesting, "food grade" better than "potable water grade"? I better stop drinking "potable" water and start looking for "food grade" water. Wonder where they sell that?

Potable and Food Grade are seperate designations from different governing bodies. Potable water is pretty neutral in ph and reactivity so it is not as likely to pick up contaminates from the material it is in contact with. Food products and additives can run the whole ph range and react with more types of materials so it needs to be much more resistant to these things than Potable products do. As far as sap goes it would be close to potable water so I would think that would be more than adequate.
