Number of Sugarmakers?

Hi - Wondering if anyone knows how many sugarmakers there are in the U.S. and Canada? Thanks in advance.

Member of FPAQ in 2013 :13500 producers in Quebec for 42.7M taps... this is only bulk producers. No avalaible data for Hobbyist (who sell syrup at farm only) . Qc produced 91% of Canadian crop in 2013, and 71.3 of World production.
