Cleaning Submersible Pumps

Finished pulling taps so am now doing the final releaser and tank cleanup. I'm wondering how other folks handle cleaning their submersible pumps and if they do anything specific for summer storage of the pump.

Just for clarification, this is a submersible pump in an electric releaser.
