I know there are lots of variables but is there a pricing guideline for pricing a used 2x6 evaporator flued stainless pans. I'm looking around and the prices range from 3 to 5000.

Not sure about a pricing guideline. However, 2x6 rigs have the highest resale value resulting obviously in higher used prices.

I guess I have seen that 2x6s are same general price as the big ones. Doesn't make much sense to me when a new leader wse is 4200$

2x6's likely hold their value the best of any size, because it is often the first "real" evaporator newer producers get, and on the other end, many larger producers still use a 2x6, and use an RO and often concentrate fairly high. If you feed 18-20% concentrate into a fine tuned 2x6 you can draw off 10+ gal of syrup an hour. That is the sap from lots of taps.
