Looking to see if anyone has made their own round bottom tank?
I've got some pictures on my page, I can't figure out how to share them easily. I framed around ribs of plywood an laid 2x4's down the length. I lined it with roofing steel, the ends are advantec flooring. It's 48" wide, 32"high and 8' long. I also put 1" styrofoam between the ribs so it would drain and lined it with a 4mil agricultural plastic after duct taping the screw heads, cracks and joints. A 6" wide strip of the advantech flooring in the bottom and flaired up 3/4" on each end to drain in the middle. That way I could cut back the metal and flatten it around the drain. I used clear plastic tubing for a sight glass on the end. Held approximately 500 gallons.
