how long to leave lines open to dry after cleaning before sealing them up?

I leave mine open until all signs of moisture are gone, with the vacuum on. I open just 2 mains at a time and walk the lines everyday, closing just the drops that are dry. As one main is almost all dry, I open another. If you leave moisture in them, it will turn and will attract tree rats more. This does take a lot of time, but if you aren't going to the bother to dry them, I feel you might not even want to bother cleaning them. I'm sure others will chime in.
