Hi. Anyone know what this little valve is called? It's off an old D&G finishing stove.

There are 4 long burners and one 1 going across the 4.
On the valve
- the main out is going to the manifold connecting the 4 burners
- one nipple has a thermo coupler
- the other nipple is feeding the burner cross the 4 burners.
If we connect the propane directly to the 4 burner manifold, it works, but the flame isn't burning clean. Does this valve play a role in a clean flame? If we put the propane through the valve, the 1 burner works great. but the other 4 won't light.
I was doing some reading. A dirty propane flame just means a lack on air?
Cheers,
Nelson
