I was wonder if it is posible for this to happen. I use 6 gal plastic f/grade buckets with tubing running into them sitting on the ground. I have a snug fit with no openings on the connections of the tubing , lid and bucket. On my best trees they fill the buckets and push the lid up enough to overflow and drip out the low side of the rim. Is the weight of the sugar heavy enough to stay in the bucket and the excess water would drip out the top? LMK THanks

I doubt it since sugar is in solution and the concentration should stay in equilibrium as long as it hasn't frozen.

No, the sugar is dissolved in the water. The excess water dripping out the top will carry the sugar along with it.
