I haven't got a drop for a week and the Birches just started running. So I'm pulling the plug on the maples for this year and I only got 30 gallons of sap, if even.

Ittitz that is so weird I'm closing in on 20 gallons of syrup. My trees ran OK today and weather looks good. I reamed out over 100 taps today. You haven't boiled once? I wish I had some extra sap to give you.

My problem is probably that I'm tapping all reds on gravity with almost completely level ground. No exactly ideal. Anyway the birches are usually generous regardless of conditions so I'll see what they give me this year.

I got 130 gallons in 2 days. They were calling for low 34 last night. I was up boiling half the night we hit 32 at 2am and a low of 28. Suns out and a high of 46 today.... hoping for the best as usual

I boiled the 100 gallons I hoped to do today, my season is officially over. I only brought this to concentrate, so no clue how much ill end up with, but I was thankful for the 40 gallon donation and my trees got me to 100 gallons. I'm just about out of wood or I'd maybe do 1 more batch, but I did almost 3 gallons more than my output of last year so I have no complaints.

Yeah one of my trees ran a tiny bit today, but it's buds have started to break so it's a waste anyway.

My trees always run horrible (and I've tapped different trees every year), so I always boil at the end of the season come what may. I also try a different method of boiling every year. This year I built a vacuum still to boil at a low temp hopefully this weekend.

I did well considering on syrup. If your a few gallons short being capable of firing I could procur you like 20 gallons if I looked. I don't have extra per say but I believe you said youbl haven't boiled yet
