But does anyone have 100 gallons of sap they are willing to sell or spare? Id like to make 2 more gallons but I think I am about done with any bit of a run from my trees. Id be willing to pay a reasonable price. Im in southern NH, but id be willing to take a drive. I have 2 55 gallon drums I could use to transport it.

I know, I may be dreaming, but it was worth a shot. You can text, call, or email me...9788156476

thanks

I dumped 50 gallons of 1.5% yesterday. I have 2 people delivering me sap. If I get overburdened this week ill sell you there sap at what they sell it to me for. Also why do you think your done? I'm flowing ok this morning and hoping for a flood

Hey handtapper...I dumped a LOT yesterday that got mixed with rain water and it depressed me....I dont see any freezing temps in our future, so im not sure we will get much more. Yes, please let me know and I will take it off your hands.

Im hoping im wrong, I will be checking all my taps today, if anymore is going to flow, today should certainly make that happen.

Thank you!!

I would also like to add the buds are still tiny, haven't swelled one bit. I'm currently making medium and haven't made any dark or b yet. I could be totally wrong but I expect (hope) for a heavy week or two

I too dumped most of my buckets yesterday. I thought I would have a lot of fresh sap today, but only collected about 4 gallons. Lots of bugs were flying in and out of my buckets. Hoping that we still have a little time left and that my woods trees have frozen roots! :)

I expected more but I got 50gallons and had 20 dropped off. My trees were running at 5. I reamed out all taps and am crossing fingers

What do you mean, reamed the taps? Re drilled?

Yes I drilled like a mm deeper and freshened the walls it might not work I didn't research this one on here first. I thought it made a difference assessing before and after but I could be wrong.

I am tempted to do that to my trees in Merrimack, my woods are still snow covered , but unfortunately now pretty flooded...the tap holes all seem to have dried up. I went out yesterday and got a measly 5 gallons on 70 taps....its so frustrating!!!

I picked up 20 gallons that ran last night. Taps were running at 9am not hard but running

Go to the tapping thread and check with Dr Tim...I don't think re-drilling is recommended as it might be bad for the tree.

I had someone offer me 100 gallons they wanted me to evaporate their sap for them and get the syrup in return. (doesn't really work that way) they are some where by me in the seacoast. PM me and I will share their email with you. maybe you could strike up a deal that is if they didn't dump it or if its not too old. maybe they will sell it to you????
