I tore down my sap puller last week and saw oil leaking down the front, when I put it back together I wiped the oil off and didn't think anything of it then today I took the cover off and there was more oil. I called bosworth and they didn't know anything about the motor. Does anybody know anything of my problem?

My sap puller looks exactly like yours...mine came from Goodrich Maple. It was new last year and I have had a couple of days with continuous running (shut down long enough to refuel the generator). I would start by looking at the block the motor runs into. There may be a seal which has worn or broken. Sorry I cannot be of more help.

Likely the seal. It should be easily replaced. However be careful, when they build a motor the pack smoke inside, when it gets out you need to replace the motor! (sorry, I couldn't resist.)
