Just installed some new tubing and spouts.
The new 7/16 spouts seem to be leaking at the tap hole.
Any way to stop the leaking?
Tried reseating the spout but to no avail???

Not new to this.
Installed an additional 193 buckets and not a leak with regular spiles.
Any thoughts.

Thanks;

Most spouts will leak a little around the outside of the taphole for a short time (a few hrs to a few days) after being first installed. You made a wound to the tree, and some of the sap is originating near the very outside of the spout. It'll stop after a short while. If you already reseated them, don't do it any more or you cold split the wood. If you're on gravity tubing it won't make any difference.
