Aluminum pan

Hello, this is the first time I used an aluminum pan and finished product looks great but my son says he tastes almost a hint of metal taste is aluminum a bad Idea or do I look elsewhere for the problem..thanks

I got rid of all my alumi um cookware Years ago. No other metal except stainless steel. You will get a bad taste.

I agree with highlandcattle, scrap the al. when it comes to boiling. It will give the syrup a metalic taste

When we used to make syrup in an aluminum stock pot I always thought it tasted a little like peanut butter. When we switched to a stainless pot it tasted a lot better.
