Sap is flowing in Clinton county. I had a good jump on it when we got that warm spell in Feb. I had half my taps in on Feb 22nd and the rest were in by March 9. All buckets this year, I'm just getting started. How's it going for everyone else up here in Northeastern NY?

In lewis county its been pretty slow been getting some small runs but it hasent really let loose yet

I tapped 3/2 thru 3/5 the first 500. We tapped another 60 last week and they were the only ones running today in the mid 30's.
I have gathered 900 gallons of sap in Chazy. So I am guessing you haven't missed much in Champlain.
All on tubing pulling 25". Why do the new taps run better? Its only been 3 weeks since the first taps were put in. And they are all new clear disposable.
