Set up the vacuum regulator yesterday morning, backed the adjustment way off to bring the vacuum up to 25" , was leary of going higher for #1- The pump is a De Laval 76 with flood kit, and # 2-The spring mechanism seemed to be pretty loose that I was worried about something letting loose and heading to the pump. I would like to go higher with the vacuum, ran at 28" last year, but a lot of smoking issues with the pump and overheating of the electric motor. This year I have an old furnace fan blowing on the pump, seemed to help considerably yesterday.
