I see a lot of posts about using a releaser. Sounds like you use it to get sap to flow. I'm not familiar with this. Can anyone shed some light on what exatly a releaser is and what is does?? Thanks everyone!!!

A releaser is used with vacuum. It is where the vacuum and pipes to the woods are connected together. It keeps the vacuum and sap separate so that you don't fill your vacuum pump with sap.
