Tap Movement?

First year tapping. Love it.

Using 5/16 tap with tubing into plastic OJ containers. Some taps did not leak for the first moth and now seem to be significantly leaking. MighT this be because of freezing/ unfreezing or because the hole is starting to heal? For one of them, I can't simply push it back in because its already in as far as it will go. Started that way without a problem. Thanks.

This came up in another thread yesterday. A few of us have had taps pop out bucket and all. Dr Tim says it's not uncommon. I have one tap that is now leaking like yours after a month without problems. I'm going to give it a few gentle taps with a hammer to see if it will reseat.
