I know to keep jugs well separated when cooling so they do not keep keep each other hot.
My question is there a good way to speed up the cooling with plastic jugs. Like a cool water bath, or will this cause problems with lids not sealing or sugar settling out? thanks in advance for any input

What's the rush??? But I would think a cool room would be better than a cool water bath if for no other reason that the water will start to retain the heat and need to be changed. I can see selling 'warm/hot off the press' syrup as a selling point for freshness.
