Looks great! I made my first syrup ever on Friday and the color was about the same as yours. Didn't get 5 gallons though. You started out a lot more ambitious than me! :o

That looks great, and you're not too far behind me. To date I've only made 16 gal and I've got 1250 +/- taps in. I do however have over 1000 gal of sap frozen, the should thaw by July.

Ron had a great run yesterday. Weather was perfect. Finally making syrup. About 20 gallons so far. Not running well today.He's boiling off the last for today then cleaning and waiting for the next run. Still snow and cold in our woods. Let's hope for a bit longer. Yeah!
