Flooded out

went out at 10 this morning to see if wind blew any bags off last night, boy am I glad I brought my chest waders. I am 100 yards from thornapple river and some bags 25 in all so far I took down because I was waist deep in water at least I had some other maples on higher ground to put them in, Still have to worry about 20 more but I think I will have to keep waders in truck to collect tonight. At about 11 some of the trees were dripping pretty good already ( south facing with full sun on them. Too bad Sunday is going to get cold again.

Had the flooding issue on a bush that I leased a few years ago. I feel your pain. Hope the water levels drop fast for you.

You know you are hooked when you put on chest waders and take hour and half to empty all the bags here is a pick of the shallow water I am in.
