The Shack

So this is the shack that me and my family spent the entire summer building, abd now use every weekend. She's gonna be doubling as a smoke house and type of woodland kitchen in the upcoming warn season.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/21/4usejyby.jpg

Umm I think it's about a 16 by 10? I'm not completly sure off the top of my head.

sweet....much nicer than the pallet, castoff 2x4 and tarp shack I had last year.....I have @60 gal in tank now waiting for me to START my new shack so I can get the evap in it to boil....happy spring!

Everyone has to start somewhere! This is our fourth or fifth season sugaring and we've just now built our building. Trust me, it makes all the difference in how the sap boils off and everything once you've got the shelter from all the wind and whatnot. Good luck to you in your building! You are three times quicker of a learner than I am. lol Been doing it outside for 16 years now and hopefully this summer a shack will be built and a real evaporator will be bought.
