Finally a good flow, all the buckets were full and the tubing is flowing. Looks like a few more good days from the weather. Time to fire up the evaporator and coffee could be a busy week.

Had my best run in 2 years yesterday in Trumbull. 8 taps and probably around 16 gallons of sap. Buckets were all full or very very close to full.

Likewise. My 3 taps yielded 4 gallons of sap. I was losing some of it too.

ran like water yesterday here as well. collected today as well and filled a 60 gallon container in time for another (maybe last) boil tomorrow. Looks like I'll be just over half of last years production when it's all said and done.

A few of my 5 gallon buckets off a single tap were filled to the top today. Been collecting since last Saturday. A few had only 2 gallons.

Lafite why would you be done boiling after this weekend? Are going to pull your taps?

travelling. I need to make real money..lol. No, I won't pull the taps just yet. today looks like a nice run potential here. it went below freezing at 10:40 and got down to 25. still 28 at 7:41am and the warm front will pass through. get ready for some sap!!

Past week has been good, at least 1 gal/tap/day. Trees shut off with yesterday's WX, but roared back today. Coming week looks good for the temperature swing, so here we go... no matter what time I start boiling, I always seem to finish at 1 AM...

Had a good run yesterday, boiled some in the evening, and got 2 gallons of syrup. Still have about 100 gallons to boil and the trees were still running when i quit last night. It looks like a week maybe two more, but not sure how well next week will be. It does not look great on the long range forecast, cold and snow on Tuesday.
