Hydrometer needed

Does anyone know where I can purchase a sap hydrometer in central PA? I will be traveling from DuBois to Lancaster to Bloomsburg on Saturday so any locations with in that path would work.

If it's a sap hydrometer you need you should be able to get by with one made for wine and beer. They usually go from 0- 35 brix and should be much easier to find if you can't find a maple supplier.

Tractor Supply sells them in my area.....you could check to see if there is one close to you

Call a specific TSC first. The ones in my area do not sell maple supplies.

I vaguely remember someone posting that OW Houtz in State College carried some maple supplies. Might be worth a call or short detour.

I'll from denver and will be in Shade Gap saturday boiling. I have an extra you could have. The range is a little high but it works good. I picked them up at an auction for a $.

I live in Lewisburg, right along your route. I had an extra until tonight....long story. If I ould have know you needed one I was at pattersons the other day and I could have relayed for you. I'm not sure of any places in the bloomsburg area that have any.
