Lewis county putting taps out in the am

Lewis county here and putting out taps in the am (about 30). Wondering if this weather is ever going to break. Looks like a good few days but then cold again. Hope we are not trying a little premature but also don't want to miss some opportunity. Anybody else tapping in lewis county yet?

Bigchz, we're all tapped in and ready, but this weather is really screwed up, I hope conditions are better than their calling for.

Give it a couple more days, season is starting to look a whole lot better. Should be a super Maple Weekend coming up.

So far we made about 5 gallons of syrup (yummy) but unfortunately our trees are already looking like they are starting to bud. Any body else having this issue? And any insight on how much longer we can keep our taps in?
