A watched pot

They say watched pot never boils…

Let me tell you, it boils and boils and boils. That is until you add more sap and then it stops. It will eventually start again and that’s about the time you have to add the pieces of sap ice that froze in the bucket because it was so cold. The boiling then stops but guess what it starts back up gain. This process happens over and over again until you have awesomeness in the pan.

Last weekend my kids came home with a science project.. growing grass from seeds, at the same time my wife decided to spray paint a frame and I was boiling sap. So all in one moment we were watching a boiling pot, waiting for paint to dry and watching the grass grow. :)
