Has anyone ever boiled with a kerosene stove?

I don't know of anyone that has but I don't see while you can not. Any source of heat is all that it takes.

A question came to me on what the BTU'S of the kerosene stove would be. I am sure it wold boil water but will it be enough to make syrup. The fire should be as hot as you can possibly get it. I am thinking you have a kerosene stove that was made for heating. To make sap boil well the temperture of the fire should be upwards of 1000 degrees.
