Bottle from an aluminum pot ok?

Can I run my syrup through my press into an aluminum pot and then maintain the temp. and bottle from it?

I'd say you'll be fine. I never bought into the hype against using aluminum cookware. But if I remember correctly, someone once posted here that they could taste aluminum in syrup cooked in aluminum pots. For the short time your syrup is going to sit in that pot I doubt that will be a problem. If it's what you have and will work for you, then use it.

Well if your press is built like every other press built before 2013 it is aluminum so I don't see where the problem is.
