What is say... your average time spent gathering, and then of course, tell us the time spent collecting the really big runs.

About 1½ hours for 135 sap sacs - unless it's really muddy and I fall down alot...then it takes longer...

It takes me about 1 1/2 hours to empty 15 gallon jugs on the yard trees, drive 6 miles to my sugar bush, empty 25 buckets, and drive back home.

3 bushes, last year 1100 sacks, 6-7 hours with 2 people. This year dropped the far bush and gained one 1/4 mile away. 500 taps by myself I'm hoping for under 5 hours.

142 bags last year took me 2 hours but 60 of them were 6 miles from the major portion. This year 125 bags and 75 gravity tubing on on farm hoping no more than 1 hr.

About 1 1/2 hours for 100 buckets. As the season moves along and the snow melts, I can knock 10/20 min off. The longer the better because that usually means full buckets. :)

I can do about 100 buckets in an hour and a half. If I'm an a hurry about an hour,

Takes me 2-1/2 hours to gather 250 buckets from four scattered locations. If it's a really big run, I'll have to stop home and dump my load before going on.

Won't take me long today since its 3 degrees out and we just got 15 inches of snow a day ago. When it actually runs it takes 2.5 - 3 hours to pick them up from 3 different places.
