Sap Puller Prpblems

Just wondering if anyone else who uses a sap puller sees this issue. I am only getting about 12" of vacum still leaks I guess, but some of the laterals seem to be full of sap but not moving or sometimes it looks as though the sap and bubbles are moving back towards the tree. If I take the line off where that lateral hooks into the saddle there is good pull of vacum.

Yes still leaks...vac will rise as you fix the leaks.

Sap in lines is not moving from the cold trees.

I am on 27+" and the lats are very full and not moving. With the hard freeze coming I am venting lines tonight to save from making leaks as the sap freezes in the lines.
