Last year my elementary class tapped about 50 trees as part of our science/math program. It was a terrific experience for them and I feel that tapping trees is an experience that really enriches education and is a great way to connect kids to our natural world. Since last year we have lost access to the Sugar Maples, I have found some replacements but not nearly enough. Is there anyone out there that is willing to sell/donate us some sap so that we can continue this tradition. Hopefully someone that loves kids and syrup will but the property and grant us access for next year.
Any amount will be helpful.
