I just got this pan, it has been repaired many times and I have silver soldered many pin holes in it. my question is can the ss reach a point where it cant handle being repaired anymore! I don't know if it had been over heated or abused in some manner that would fatigued it beyond repair.

If you see high and low spots in the bottom of the pan, chances are your pan has been overheated. The steel is thinner in some areas, maybe why you have some holes. It may be best to replace your pan.
