Not very practical. Try moving that around the bush. I think I will keep my TW 5 Timberwolf

Actually I could use that. Split 30"wood and 25 -30 cord a year I could make quick work of my wood processing.

My logsplitter hasn't moved in years, its under an open roof that's about 20 by 20, we split wood in the middle and stack wood around the 3 sides till they fill then in rows outside covered with plastic panels. Works very well, best part is that I can split wood at night with the lights on or in rain etc, no reason to waste good weather and daylight splitting wood! Too much hassle taking the splitter to the woods and way more handling of wood, I bring it in in longer lengths and then cut it up on a makeshift log deck and onto the splitter it goes. You can get a lot more wood out while the weather is nice then cut and split it later, has worked well for me.

I'll stick with my Gransfors Bruks. Cost a fraction of that machine, zero maintenance, nice and quiet, pleasure to use and doesn't use diesel.

I'm in the process of making one like this, bought a spare bucket for my case 680k and it will work,I made the thumb now this.http://youtu.be/hxDtpHsmeKw. I also heat the house with a E-1450 central boiler,so lots of splitting, use NO oil!!!

Awesome share!

This gives me an idea to keep my teenagers that currently love splitting wood in the program when the fun dies and the work begins.

I'll have it on a trailer so the weight is not an issue. I just need a longer stroke to take care of the 48" logs for the outside boiler.

Thanks GramaCindy!!!

I like this one. It will fit right on our NH tractor.
