I know this is highly debated...wash or not to wash tubing...I am on my second year of 300 taps on gravity tubing and I have not washed. I always thought I should because it seemed like the right thing to do but I have gone 2 years with no washing.....here is what I saw....
I just finished walking all my mains and my laterals and everything looks super clean....the only black crud I could find was at my end trees where the end of line hook attaches and there is a slight sag where the tubing goes around the tree. Needless to say I think I will continue to not wash...seems to be working...I am afraid if I pump water up..some mold will be likely to form.
Just thought Id let everyone know what I saw in regards to cleaning tubing....hope it helps.....
