Well, my syrup bottle in my truck tells me it was cold the other night, -24F or -31 Celcius. I didn't think syrup froze but it does. Whiskey even freezes at these temps.
The white creamy blobs in the bottle looked like maple butter. If you look close at the pic, you can see even the bubbles were frozen. I took the syrup inside and almost immediately it started to become liquid. Those bubbles were first to unthaw.
Now at room temp, perfect looking syrup, just as it was before frozen.
Anyone know what the white blobs are ?
