membrane orientation

I am putting my RO together and was wondering if a membrane can be run horizontal. I can't seem to find any info for or against. I have seen pictures of large municipal ROs that are horizontal but I didn't know if this was a special case. Thanks Jeff

Some Maple RO are horizontal, should work fine.
