Line tention

Hanging more line today some 5/16 road side stuff and we've always used nails to keep the line tight is there any other way to keep it tight without putting hardware in your trees?

Just use end ring fittings or any other fitting that is adjustable, then slide the the adjustable fitting to pull the line tight. Start as tight as you can or you will have too much to take up at the adjustable fitting. Occasionally you may need a side tie to pull sideways if you have some long spacings on some of your trees. However I rarely need any, have used maybe 4-5 in 12 seasons total.

try putting a hose clamp on the tubing near the last tree and use it to secure a wire onto, so you can use the wire to keep tension.
