On a 3x10 wood fired arch what kind of stack temp are you guys getting, or what range are you looking to be in?

800 degrees with the blower on medium , 1,000 on high, and 600 no blower.

We have a bolt on stack thermometer. so or values may be lower. It is about 5 feet above the arch on the stainless base stack. Same size rig as yours. We run between 500 and 700 degrees F. We do have AUF and AOF. Stack temps were higher when we only had AUF.

I have a magnetic thermometer on my stack about 4 feet up. That tells you how poor the quality of todays SS stacks are if a magnet sticks to it. Anyways, I was told at Bascoms that 800 degrees was a good temp to shoot for. That's what I get with the blower going and 24' of 14" stack on my 3x10.

I also aim for 800 degrees. I use the readout part of a PID controller and a K type thermocouple. It is inserted into the stack about 4 feet up from the bottom of the pan.

We don't have a blower or preheater or air tight front yet! Kinda funny you have everything that we want. Lol. Kinda nice to see your stats. We have out around 1,100 on gravity but next year it's all going on vac.
