Hello folks:
First, I want to thank you all for sharing information. I have been reading your post for a year or so.
We have hung 100 buckets for a few years and last year pulled 910 gallons of sap. Like many others we added on this year. We added a 600’ 1” mainline and about 160 taps and will still hang the buckets. The tubing is in and I will likely tap next weekend. I picked up a used Lapierre mechanical extractor and a 7 CFM vacuum pump that was used in a college lab.
Im ready for this year to be learning experience.:o
