Tapped out Monday and Tuesday in the knee deep snow and had a pretty good run Saturday when it warmed up after the rain all day Friday. Found several buckets that we hang just about full and emptied them in other holding tanks buried in the deep snow to keep cold. Checked some of our holding tanks off pipeline and found one with about 25 gallons in it. This is already down in the snow to keep cool. Question is not enough to fire up for us and with this weeks cold snap hitting Monday I feel the sap will be ok in the holding tanks that are outside and covered and buried in the snow and with the cold temps will keep it until we can have enough to fire up. Like to start with at least 60 gallons or more after filling pans and having enough in inside holding tank to assure we do not end up with running out in pans. I get nervous about this and just wanted some feed back:o
