Will pump freeze

I have a 160 gallon tank that my main lines dump into with a pump to pump into sugar house. I have about 12 gallons of sap in tank enough that it covers the pump. With extreme cold coming will the pump be damaged by freezing into the sap?

Don't think it will be a good idea to leave that pump in the tank! That raw sap will freeze as hard as a rock! That will not do that pump any good! Save that money and spend it on something else maple!

Pull the pump and make sure it is well drained every night before you leave.
