Smokey Lake Filter/Bottler

I tried my new filter/bottler from Smokey Lake this morning. It has the little steam pan. It works great. It was easy to use and I really liked the flat filters much better. The syrup was clear and I was able to put a little heat on while filtering.

How did your R/O work? Have you tried it yet?

The RO worked really well. I didn't have enough sap to run it more than 2 hours, but it was getting 7.5 - 10% on 2.5% sap once through at 18 gallons per hour. I had a little trouble with my concentrate flow meter so I pushed the membrane a little too hard and fouled it a little near the end. It flushed right out with permeate.
