Nbobich, I am in Gibsonia, where are you? I have 240+ taps out and maybe 24 more to go once the snow melts some. Everything is ready here - just need some sap.

Pleasant hills, south of Pittsburgh! I hope to have an operation that big in a few years!!! I have an area with 100's of maples so expanding and having trees won't be a problems it will be boiling and storage!

We've gotten 21 gallons in the past 2 days on our 32 taps! Some of our trees are really big so they took longer to thaw out!

Just got the last of out taps in. A whopping 27 taps this year. Its our third year sugaring on our little chunk of woods right in the middle of the city.
Its all pretty rigged: milk jugs, sumac branches for taps and a keg cut in half over a fire pit. We usually get around 1.5 to 2 gallons by the end of the season. I also have some friends that are sugaring in the hills of millvale.
