We put in 50 taps Feb the 1st and have collected about 160 gallons of sap so far...not bad since last year we only got 200 gallons of 70 taps the whole season.
We gave up on a bunch of non flowing trees from the last 2 years, kept 25 good flowing taps ,and put in 25 new taps at some friends place just up the road.
