put my line on the state road in today before the storm. Hopefully since I'm off next week, the rest of the taps go in. The weather looks promising later next week in southern Connecticut.

Putting in 9-10 taps tomorrow morning. Weather looks great next week.

Put 8 taps in today. I ran short on buckets, because I was expecting to double up running more than one tap to a bucket, but it didn't work that way.

Weather looks good this week, I'll check on Thursday to see how they are running.

One tree I tapped showed signs of recently flowing sap; it had a big frozen slick down trunk.

tapped in Thursday during storm (mind you 3 taps). dialed in the cement block evaporator during today's storm. looking forward to see what the week has.

Going to tap today. Weather looks promising this week. Got plenty of snow to keep sap cold now!!!!!

I spent Saturday digging out tanks and mainlines, got another 200 taps in today, so about 650 in so far I think, about 500 left to do but I hope I can get them done before the end of the week when it warms up. This snow sure slows down work in the woods not to mention the time I end up spending plowing etc

Weather looks perfect this week here in the southeast part of the state. I'll post Thursday with a sap report.

I took Wednesday off from work so hopefully I can get atleast a few hundred more taps in, so far about 650 of my 1200 are in. Looks like we will be boiling by weekend, still need to put the membranes in and flush the ro! And wash the 1650 gal tank at the sugarhouse, so much to get done!
