Seasonal spouts

Looking at buying 1000 new seasonal spouts for 300 gravity taps and 200 2 gal buckets....which makes more sense.....the Cdl smart spout or the straight spout....and how do I hang my buckets and lids on the new seasonal spouts ??

There are some threads on the subject. This will be my 2nd year with the clear seasonal straight spouts. I also have lids and use hooks to hang the bucket.

There is a thread with a guy in Quebec that makes a lid holder that slides over the spile. I tried to buy some, but he was sold out last year, so I made my own out of 1/2" black hose and drilled a hole crossways for the lid wire to go through. The only problem was you have to drive them in farther because they couldn't take the weight. You would go to tree and lift the lid and it was like a booby trap and the whole thing would fall off. If this continues this year, I'll go back to the blue 5/16 bucket spiles and replace them every year and maybe put them on a 10 year rotation.
