Any thoughts on lapierre releasers vs gilles bernarhd? I'll have around 900 taps on the releaser.

I have a Lappierre double verticle releaser and it has worked flawlessly. What a lot of folks don't realize is that Lappierre owns Gilles Bernard releasers also. It is my understanding that he is closing the plant down this spring and moving it to St. Ludger to his releaser facility.

Dad (mapleguy) is the expert, and a Lapierre dealer, but he's on vacation, maybe he'll reply next week.
Edit: I sent him the link via email. He's the only maple expert in Alberta at the moment LOL.

I have sold both brands to customers with very few problems with either one. The main thing to do with any releaser is to keep them claen, especially the moving parts, with a little vegetable oil on any surfaces the rub togather. The sizes and prices will differ a bit from one brand to another , otherwise them function the same.

I also understand that Lapiere owns Bernard. We have a large Lapiere and it works flawlessly
