Just wondering how much people are paying for rail gasket and what type you are using ? I went to the
Co op the other day and they want six bucks a foot for 1/4x2 gasket .

If that's the woven type it's what I use, but I don't think I paid anywhere near that much. Don't really remember and I think I'd remember that.

I bought the woven type of gasket this year. I bought it from Allstate Gasket Inc. 1/4"x2"x50ft for $57.00 a roll. Its nice stuff that will hold up better that the non woven

in the past ive used the flat gasket for a wood stove door. it less than an inch wide but worked. i think it came from a big home supply store. this year, i actually bought a pan gasket from bascomb. looks to be about 3/4 inch thick,2 inches wide and 25 feet long. i believe it was $25. but the gasket from a wood stove has worked in the past.
I bought the 1/4" thick 2" wide 25 feet long roll from leader. It didn't cost nearly that much.

Nice rig, I like the idea of the tires...you can expand your operation and boil in more than one location...great idea.
I need wheels on me...seems I need to be in several places at once too. LOL

Nice setup.....I like the wheels. reminds me of a Firebird I had back in the day.....when gas was 59 cents a gallon.

In Pa, we modify lawn mowers and race them. I can see an evaporator race with this rig! :) Somebody on here needs to add a driver to this photo just for fun! (something to do while the next snow storm moves in.)

Wow, not only does it have wheels, you can also hang it from the ceiling. Good way to get it out of the way. Any patents applied for?
