That moment when you realize, if I value my time at about $2 an hour then I could have bought an evaporator much cheaper......Naaaahhhh where's the fun in that. Just finished up adding the last pan to my "Poor Mans Flue Pan".

Looks good. I have had a few of those moments myself.

Ok so if you went out and bought that new rig, the check book would be empty, and what kind of trouble would you have gotten into with all that spare time on your hands.

2$an hour? I wanna come work for you! Seriously though I have found it easier to control your expences than raising your income.

that looks awesome. You have a lot of pan to fire ratio. how many gph do you get?. do you run through a lot of propane? I just got my 3 steam table pans yesterday so it is time to put my block arch together. I am hoping to get at least 6 gals per hour on it this time around.

Last year with three full size pans and no preheater I was getting about 7 gph. With the new layout and other improvements I'm guessing 10 to 11 gph. I use wood, I have a few friends who work at a lumber mill so I get lots of free kiln dried pine.
